Codognotto Reuse

A Circular Economy project to breathe new life into our discarded materials

Codognotto Reuse is much more than just a project. It is a vision that transforms discarded materials into valuable items and gives a second life not only to resources, but also to people.

A Path to Circular Economy

Through art, creativity, and inclusion, Codognotto Reuse stands as a model of Circular Economy that merges environmental respect with social solidarity into one extraordinary initiative.

The result is unique pieces that enhance not only the technical properties of materials but also their aesthetic potential, extending their lifespan even after they have become waste for the company.

New Life for Materials, New Hope for People

At the heart of the project lies the idea of repurposing materials that would otherwise be discarded, such as tarpaulins, seat belts, trailer airbags, and truck tires. Each creation is unique, like our Codognotto Flower Pot, crafted entirely from old truck tires: a tangible symbol of rebirth and creativity.

More than an object, it's a philosophy of life

But Codognotto Reuse doesn't stop there. It is also a social project that involves local associations such as Il Pesco and Piccola Comunità. Through this collaboration, individuals with disabilities or in socially marginalized situations find an opportunity for inclusion, growth, and personal empowerment by actively participating in the creation of these artistic works.

What is pursued is not only artistic experimentation but a life project that satisfies 16 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, as outlined in Agenda 2030. With each creation, we contribute to protecting the planet and building a more inclusive society.

The Mind and Heart of the Project

Codognotto Reuse was born from the creativity of Debora Basei, an eco-artist and eco-designer from Conegliano (TV), who launched the Ricrearti project in 2006.

"Ricrearti" is a project inspired by “dadaist and surrealist” art, aiming to reinterpret the world: anything you can imagine, you can create. The initiative's goal is to repurpose and transform "waste" materials into unique objects through imagination, surpassing mass production and supporting the individuality of products. This activity encourages individuals, inspired by colors and materials, to unleash their creative abilities and bring an accessory to life.
